Nobody joins on their first night, and we wouldn’t want you to. Come and see the club first. Invest in a brighter future when you’re sure it’s the right room for you.

How it works

  1. Visit as a guest.Turn up to a meeting, in person or online. Sit at the back. There is no pressure to speak.
  2. Come a couple of times. Two or three meetings is usually enough to know. You’ll see different speakers, different Table Topics, and how the room treats a beginner.
  3. Apply.Tell any officer you’d like to join, or send the form. We’ll take you through the application and assign you a mentor.

One thing worth knowing: Toastmasters International has no standalone membership. You join through a club. So this is the door.

What membership includes

  • A mentor.Every one of the twenty-seven members who joined last year was assigned one.
  • Pathways, the Toastmasters education programme. Pick a path, work through five levels, and deliver each project as a speech to the club.
  • Roles at every meeting:chairing, evaluating, timing. This is where the leadership half of Toastmasters actually happens.
  • Contests,if you want them. Club, then Area, then Division, then District.
  • A club that is going somewhere:Smedley Distinguished in 2025/26, and forty-five members in good standing.

If you’d rather just talk to a person, message us on WhatsApp.
